1. Stuff the fireplace. If you have a non-working, clean fireplace, turn it into a reading nook! Simply by paint the interior, pile in your throw pillows, and voila: a nook for reading, napping, or catching up on Netflix.
2. Surround the coffee table. Turn that coffee table into a bohemian-style eating area by creating seating with floor pillows.
3. Line your windowsill. If you’re looking to create a cozy, window reading or sitting space, find a sturdy bench the same height as your windows, and line it with your favorite pillows for comfortable seating.
4. Create a daybed. Dreaming of a luxurious daybed? You can DIY by snagging a futon mattress and vibrant coverlet, placing it in a cozy corner, and sprinkling with your favorite throws. Add a hanging mosquito net for whimsy.
